Ive got a thinner hose now! Please help!

Due to inverting my twinset and not being able to get a longer hose for my main regs (wanted to keep the swivel at mouthpiece) I have opted to have it now illegally "HSE" re crimmed on to a long octo hose that I had. Theyve done a great job but in hindsight im now having concerns as the octo hose was a tad narrower than that for my regs.......!
My brains playing games with me, anybody know if this hose will be ok or should I have a flow check done?

I am no expert, but I would have thought that if the octo hose was thick/strong enough for an octo, then there is no reason why it shouldn't be used for your main reg.

Of course, you could have just kept a long hose and bungied the excess down the side of your tank.

Oh yes and you can get swivels for regs that you just screw in-between a normal reg fitting and hose.

Is it the bore of the hose you are concerned about?
If your main reg had a bigger hose like on Apeks tx50 then using a standard size hose will be fine.

You say you had it Illegally HSE re crimped. I hope you dont use it as a "working"(under HSE terms) Reg or they will hang you worse than Sadamm if it goes wrong.

Nope private use only, and the illegal bit is more for "iso" quality control than anything else. I believe firms havent been allowed to recrimp for a few years now.
