Hi Paul
everyone else does not agree ... the YD community does not like new people promoting their businesses or pseudo businesses..... this is made clear regularly. The boards are supported formally by people who are upfront about their business interests and also by those who informally support the boards through providing interesting content.
I would be very pleased to see you share your pictures in appropriate threads but driving users away from the boards runs counter culture.
Looking forward to seeing your pictues.

Mall,
I would love to here from you, because I joined this forum to make some friends, not to rub people up the wrong way.
Edit: Whoops Mal got in before me, I told you I was slow at typing.

Hi Mal,
I feel this is getting a bit out of hand now & starting to get a bit upset (I'm a sensitive sole) I'm pretty new to forums & didn't mean to rub anyone up the wrong way, I thought the banter as I saw it was quite common in some threads, please let me know how I can make a mends or do I just say goodbye?
Paul

Hi Paul
I don't intend to upset either you or anyone (but I know I do that from time to time .... it's unavoidable). Banter is cool, unsolicited or unearned advertising is not.
We don't want to make YD out to be a place which is really hard for new members to get comfortable but at the same time we don't want to encourage the sort of behaviour that runs counter to what we have come to accept as the norm. The 50 post hurdle is intended to be used to help people get the feel of the boards.
Best thing in my view would be to go to the Underwater Photography forum if that's where your interests lay, then share your pictures, help those who are not as good as you, ask questions of those who are better etc etc etc.
It won't be long till you get your feet under the table
