Lee have you checked your little filler cylinder to see if there was any air left in it after deploying the blob? If you did maybe you hadnt cracked the bottle open sufficiently. I must admit I hadnt noticed that you suffered from erectile dysfunction of your blob.

Martin, I know about treaddur but whats this about lost wallet? Yet another Goat tale is it?

It won't make a difference though - it'll hit the surface with the same volume, the only difference might be how quickly it gets there

Certainly 80 bar wont inflate it anywhere near enough here.

I always use a full tank or at the very least 150bar.

True, but if it is full when it leaves the bottom, then the expanding air will escape out the valve. If it is still filling up, then the expasion happens to different amounts of air so it can end up droopy.

100 bar min to fill a 0.1.

If it's DIN, make sure you screw it all the way home or some of the air leaks out past the threads. Plus that's how you get seawater in the cylinder. A blob of grease (o2 compatible if you're nitroxxey) makes all the difference.

Sorry, 2B (absolute) will "fill" the cylinder (providing the donor cylinder is equal or larger volume than the dsmbi cylinder.

Hang on, just opening the dsmbi valve to the atmosphere will fill it to atmospheric pressure
