I have looked but cant find a thread which explains how you use YD post re if Isell something on here! Can anyone enlighten me and point me in the right direction or leave some info please

It's all done on a goodwill basis , if some one is in your area and travelling to where you want the stuff to go then you may be able to arrange transport.

Are you wanting to know how to put a picture on a post?

If so, you need to upload the picture to tinypic.com (or similar) and put the 'image tag' in your post. It's usually an option marked 'for use in forums'.

What Prometheus says.
If you are selling (or buying) something then put a post on YD asking for someone to deliver the item you have sold to the person who bought it from you or vice versa if you have bought it.
Normally people will arrange a generally convenient location to "do the drop"
