PC for me, I couldnt even imagine playing any fps on anything but a PC with inverted mouse and wsad keys

I rarely play public servers.

I did have xfire at one point but never use it, never log into friends and never ever use evil MSN!

Nobody use irc?

Generally I just log into teamspeak or vent servers of folk I know and voice chat with them.

Didn't really understand a word of it... I play Xbox when I can, but playing on PC never really entertained the thought... How do I have a butcher's at what goes on???

If you can answer Yes to all these questions - then yes you can have a butchers.

Do you have a PC?
If Yes. Does it have Half Life 2 installed?
If Yes. Counter Strike: Source is a free game that comes with it.
Install CS:S and then join one of the servers listed previously in this thread.

If No to any or all of the above - then either remedy all to a Yes or 'carry on.. nothing to see here..'

btw.. 'XFIRE' is little utility that allows you to keep track of your online 'friends', what games they are currently playing and on what servers..

I go by the name of Hammerfan. I will check the backposts and add those servers. Where can I find xfire utility?

Wilbo, what servers do you play ? I am still active but under the name "Scooba". Havent seen any YD tags for ages.

You can download xfire here:
Xfire is an online gaming tool which allows you to instant message your buddy's.
See what servers they are playing on and join in.
It also shows friends of yoru friends and where they are playing.
xfire will also log how many hours you play each game.

we would mostly be on 85.236.100.94:27015 - I am sure Dave wouldn't mind me saying..

We don't tend to use the YD prefix as it denotes a clan - and that's something we're not!
