Number of the Beast (Ok...I need help)
I’m playing this game… Game Link...which is quite good, but I can't figure out the name of the bloke in the crypt...any help would be appreciated!!!!!

The Seven Gates or Arits are Egyptian mythology from the Book of the Dead. Each gate has it's own Doorkeeper, Watcher and Herald. You might find what you need here.

The name of the first Doorkeeper is Sekhet-Her-Asht-Aru! As far as I know the god of chaos is Apep, the crocodile (or water snake). Can't see how that produces the answer they are after, though.

It was an absolute sod, but I got there in the end!


What held me up was the name of the Demon. Apep is right, but he has an alternative name of Rerek. It took some digging to find that!

Now, take those letters from the name of the Doorkeeper (Sekhet-Her-Asht-Aru) and you are left with;

SHETHEASHTAU

The words 'that she has' are highlighted in the clue. Take those letters away and you are left with the letter 'u'. And of course the clue was there anyway - 'The answer you seek depends on you'.

The answer is 'u'.
