Maths Teaser
Dear Collective got the following through as an email but cannot for the life of me work it out. Does any one know the answer?

There are 7 girls on a bus
Each girl has 7 backpacks
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats
For every big cat there are 7 little cats

Question: How many legs are there in the bus, not including the bus driver?

I think we need to call the RSPCA as everyone knows carrying cats in a backpack is not suitable

I make it 2758

14 human legs (girls)

1 girl 2 legs
1 backpack with 7 large cats 196
7 kittens 196

So each girl and her backpack had a total of 392 legs multiply that by 7 which gives you total of 2758.

I think it said for each big cat there are 7 kittens so that's 49 kittens.
