Just picked this up new for at tenner at game has to be one of the freakiest games ive ever seen.

For £10? What a bargain!

I played the demo, looked rather entertaining, and certainly freaky

Could you let me know how you get on?
I struggled a little with the combat/targetting system but the 'press X Y Z etc' to stop your self from falling down a pit and having your face eaten type events was a nice touch :P

I must admit, I'm eagerly waiting for Fable 2 to be released

Fable 2... ahhhh....

According to Wikipedia:

Announced in 2006, the game has recently been announced for 2008, "maybe when the leaves have a slight brownish tinge - but are still on the trees."

This is why I'm so glad I have a 360!!!!!

Pete: I'd be curious to see how that goes, most remakes are dreadful (The US version of the Ring for example) but Hellraiser haspotential!..."No tears please...it is such a waste of good suffering!"

Calski: November 2008 is the estimated date thus far, seems to be accurate, the screenshots look great but Lionhead are keeping snippets well under cover at the moment

yhea at GAME but mine was for the pc. Ime in the rome bit at the moment. Ile admit the controls are a little awkward having to hold down the reload button to change the rate of fire. But you do get used to it after a while. The pressing up down thin as well turn up quite often later in the game. It does break things up a little if your not paying much attention.

Hmmm... I'd beg to differ. Barker is at best, mildly entertaining but a LOT of his ideas are ripped from other horror authors. I know of a certain UK based horror author who stated to me, in person, that he'd like to have a "discussion" with Mr Barker about some similarities between their work...

For an original and frightening horror author, try Shaun Hutson.

Yeah, but the Call of Cthulhu game was spoilt due to the lack of a quick save. You get bored of doing the same thing twenty times in a row, I jacked it in on the Innsmouth level.

But as an author he's smashing

For a silly Cthulhu based card game, get your hands on 'Unspeakable Words', it's very amusing!
