| Glad you thought twice about posting, no backlash from here Shows the benefit of not panicking in what was a very serious situation, and also shows the benefit of (remembering what you learned in) training. Thanks for sharing it, this sub-forum is turning into a very useful place! |

| No backlash here either - just a question or two.. Did you have the manifold 'loose' so it could rotate, or was it fixed into position but pulling on the netting still caused it to rotate? When your VR3 kicked you out to tables, what exactly does it mean? Does it provide you with said info on screen still or simply go into an error mode where you're on your own with pre-prepared tables? I ask because I have a set of manifolded twins I lack experience with and might acquire a VR3 at some point, so I'd like to know what to expect if I ever end up in said situation! Cheers, David

The main failure of the manifold was that my son had knocked my twins over and threaded the manifold which i got repaired with an engineering firm it was loose and when rotated there was enough play in the threads to strip the o rings with the net and some bits of thread. if its buggered change it don't bodge it like i did Quote:

| i thought twice about posting this because of the backlash but it shows how important training is so "quote" if it reminds one person of what can happen or helps them out in anyway at all then your post will be well worth while. we all learn from and by experience weather it's ours or someone Else's. full marks from me milldog have some green ![]()
