| Thanks Sparky. Most people know about the issues of diving after having drunk too much; dehydration, nausea, vomiting, intoxication....the list goes on. However, there are some people who don't know and fortunately Sparky lived to the tell and share his experience. As he says, it was a very silly thing to do. Don't drink and dive. Most importantly, don't be afraid to the call a dive, for whatever reason. If you screw your buddy's day up for canning a dive, you owe him/her a load of beers. Much better that than them attending your funeral. Regards

| Actually GLOC - some people might get worried at how much the beers may cost. You owe your buddy nothing if you can the dive, but beer is an added extra. Mind you in this case beer probably wouldn't be a good idea

I suppose this goes back to the comments in the other thread re: DM'ing; having enough courage in your convictions to follow through something which may be safe but not palatable (no pun intended

| eeechh! You don't say what time you stopped drinking the night before ... or was it morning .??? but I figure the lack of sleep probably contributed a lot to your not feeling so good.... |
