On that occasion he had something to hang on to whilst I retrieved the pouch and stuffed it in to the BCD pocket (I couldn't get it back into the right place either), but it would have been interesting had there been nothing to get hold of...
Likewise it happened on a wreck, he was fortunate that he managed to grab one of the spars as he started heading towards the surface.

The pouch landed next to me. In fact I actually remember hearing the thud and looking around thinking "Where the hell has he gone" then I spotted the pouch and looked up to see him holding onto a spar. Classic incident pit, I grabbed the pouch, dragged him back down and managed to eventually get it in his BCD. IIRC he then got low on air and had to switch to his Pony (Due to the additional deco from trying to sort the issue out).

Still I was diving on twins and had a good 80 bar left and a long hose ready should he need it
