I've only just seen this thread (and spent the last hour reading it all).

I don't want to start another discussion about the rights and wrongs of our decisions on the day. Suffice to say that if the same incident happened tomorrow, I might make a different decision based on this experience.

We did what we felt was correct at the time and under the circumstances.

I would still stand by my decision not to blow off our own deco.

Mark is a very skilled diver who I have dived with many times. I was massively surprised when this happened.

I respect his decision to post the details of what happened and hope that people can learn something from it.
