YBOD Bailout 2nd stage fitment

Hi All
I've persevered long enough with the Autoair, its gotta go. It tryed to dump all my Dil at the beginning of a dive once to often, even though I had it wound down more than should be nessacary. Now I've chopped it off and got that hose to a managable length, not the wreck grapnel it used to be. What do I do for shallow dive bail out? Carry a stage that I'm not in desperate need of? Or rig up a 2nd stage somewhere? I've got an ADV and a drysuit feed piped in as well so I'm getting short of ports to bung it in. I've got the one sticking out of the manifold on the end, would need some sort of elbow to go in there first. Other than that its the first stage which is cluttered enough really.

Anyone help me out with someone who makes a descent elbow or similiar that I could use and that fits well, or any other suggestions?
Thanks
John

Yeah. I felt like that but settled for winding up the nut so it's a tight breath and the problem went away. It was getting to the point that if I needed it to fill a DSMB or something I knew I was finishing the dive with the DIL turned off.

Perhaps a new manifold, a bit extravagent, but would probably do the job...

I think this one has 4 O2 ports, and 5 Diluent ones.

Don't know the cost, but from http://www.tech-blue.com

Hi John,

Rather than an elbow, on my inspiration, I unscrewed the end plug on the LH side of the manifold and inserted a swiveling T piece. I then reconnected the dil inlet hose from the 1st stage into the bottom T port and that left me with two new ports, the one that was originally the dil inlet port and the new one on the top of the T.

Its nice and neat and out of the way.

The T's are available at Tech-blue.com and quite a few other places.

hope that helps

Cheers
Mike
