| Inspiration cell thread size?? Anyone know what the thread size is on an Inspiration O2 cell? It looks suspiciously like 3/8" BSP but I could be wrong. I usually am. TIA. Woz.

| The cell I bought for my DIY O2 analyser was M16x1.5 (fine thread) EDIT: fotgot to add, mine was just what I could get hold of, not necessarily an Inspiration. I do have a tap, though, as it is the same as the Maplin waterproof cable glands Last edited by nickjb : 27-09-04 at 12:17 PM. |

What I did with another analyser is to drill a hole big enough to poke the cell end through and use a threaded sensor cap (see: http://www.tech-blue.com/en-us/dept_34.html) with a hole in it (os as to be able to expose the sensor face to the mix) as a nut to retain the cell. I have one on my desk which I'll pop in the post to you. Duncan |
