I've made the decision

Ok chaps, I've been forced into deciding on the YBOD (what I really fanced can't be bought).

I now need to find an instructor to to the course with and order the unit through.

Who do you suggest?

I don't mind traveling.

Good luck, I'm still having no joy trying to get one in Thailand. The latest is that some IART IT may be coming out in March and he could perhaps bring one out for me. I appreciate the reasoning behind AP not selling units to customers directly (without a cert) but they're looking at losing a sale in my case.

Hmm,
I posted recommending Martin Robson, but it's gone, unless I PM'd by mistake.
Anyway he's very good - an instructor trainer for the Inspo and KISS (I'm doing my Kiss course with him).

If we get to do the dives later in the year I may even see you in the water

Yes, I would have prefered to deal direct rather than go through an instructor, however you can see were they are coming from. If they sold it direct and and you just had to give it a go and it went tits up then the family would have the lawyers on the job.

Leaving on Wednesday but they want me to return on the 5th November, not too keen on being here during Ramadan but the money comes in handy.

If I'm going to have to wait until March to get a CCR then maybe I should consider the Ouru...Our...whatever it is, according to the review on the website it's due out then too.

Why not give Andy Hayhurst a call at Dales Divers. He is an Instructor Trainer for Inspiration.

I am sure he can sort you out plus he is only up the road from Chorley.

If you are doing it in the UK then Andy Hayhurst does the sale and training. His other RB customers seem very happy. look for Dalesdivers on T'internet.
