Made my own O2 rebreather at work today! CO2 absorber canister/nice pink kitty litter 2 x 2litre counterlungs, manual O2 injector system. and it worked!

No way would I even take it out in the rain, never mind dive with it though!

I used to use something like this http://www.draeger-safety.com/ST/int...yboks_k_35.jsp

It was for escape from deep shafts in London. Normal BA escape gear would not last long enough.
