Having been told my YBOD would be ready in January I have just heard it is ready TODAY......just got to transfer the rest of the money and get it shipped out now.

Hi Pierre,

The unit is being delivered to my friends shop via Langkawi in Malaysia, there are no import duties for diving equipment arriving via that route. I'm not sure how long it will take but as I'm not back in Thailand before the 23rd Dec that's not too much of a problem.

So the record is still in my hands, having waited 5 weeks for my unit and the saga it's not over! As now I am still playing with the course! Me and buddy bought one each and done theory, but now an other friend of mine bought one too and asked to be on same course, but he will come back next sunday so we have to wait for him!! That's what's happens when you have one RB Inst on the island !!

We only have one on our island (with a unit) but 1 to 1 is the norm here anyway so no problem. I'm hoping to start my course around 26th December, just need confirmation of the delivery date.

Mine's ready too...
Just got confirmation from Matt (MR Diving) that my YBOD will be delivered next Wednesday. Start the course with him the following weekend, doing open water stuff in Stoney.

That's good. You don't get blown out there.

I've dived with Matt - well I went on one of his trips and was seasick most of the time - but he's a nice guy. Good luck with it.
