It's all your fault!

Ok having been "Inspired" (or was it scared?) by Duncan Price, Narked at 90 and Digger, I've finaly aquired and bought enough bits to consider making my breather. The upshot is that I should have an O2 breather ready for testing as soon as I can get time to do the Advanced Nitrox course (only weekends off work at the moment). Oh and you're all invited to the funeral!

You have to be careful of 'breathers... Little known fact, but they make your legs go numb.

I've had no sensation from my middle leg ever since I was assimilated to the Yellow side..

Rob,
Cheers for the warning, but both legs are already numb (among other things). The wife dives as well so the more scary thought is that she'll want one as well.

Roll on the breather! Another homebuilder joins the club. Got to echo what everyone said to me. You're mad. But if someone who knows how one works sees it and doesn't laugh, you're probably onto a good thing.

Let me know if you rule out any bits for yours, I'm always looking for parts, and need all the bits I can get.

I'll definitely get it checked over by someone else before I play with it. And also to be on the safe side, the first couple of hours on the unit will be in front of the TV. If it stands up tho the exercise bike abuse I may then consider taking it into the water!

Oh and I finaly got SWMBO to sign off (despite impending redundancy) that I could buy a Ray mouthpiece and hose assembly, so it's already blown Diggers budget out of the water!

The best TV test is something long like Zulu or Ben Hur so Christmas is the ideal time for building it. If you can sit through it and remain concious then it should survive!!!

Another sees the light!!!

Just wait for him to start diving it and then it's just a matter between you and the Receiver of Wreck!

Best of luck Simon,

Make sure it doesn't numb your wallet as well as your legs...
