"APD tell me they've never seen this problem before. "

aha..that old chestnut!! Heard the very same myself for a known fault

You will dive in Stoney, perhaps your handsets are on strike in protest

Goodbye AM

EDIT - I've just realised your handsets have stoneycove-itis and the fault will be rectified by adding salt water

If they are new and they don't work, tell them to replace them again and don't take any bollocks off them.

After all it is life support equipment...........

Cheers

Ha! At least I know that current limiting cannot be checked for pre-dive 14 hours on your unit eh? Unless you've been cunningly pressurising your canister, which still won't verify integrity to 1.6. Toodle pip. I'll expect a PM from you now shall I? I suggest you revisit current limiting with your instructor. Not having a go, but it's important to know. It was not even in the course til I went berserk at TDI.

You'll be needing dotty at some point unless you plan to just jump into the sea and do 100+ metres closed circuit without any buildups.

Dotty is perfect for deep cold trimix to get acclimatised for long dives from Jan to March when we can't get out to virgin wrecks So have fun pootling on your broken up pieces of junk in the south, shandy drinker

Intrigued of Maidstone Do you really want a private discussion on current limiting if so I have PM'd with a grovelling apology for my cheekiness If your happy to then put it on YD for the benefit of all.

Got to admit if you could just move Dotti to less than its present 285miles away I would be bumping into you a bit over the winter.

Im on my FOURTH set of rusty magnets. Ive tried the grease Ive tried the nail varnish (clear, Im no poof ) in the end nothing works - they rust away with use. To be fair they never charge me for them but even so Its not rocket science to get them rustproof. Mind you all my gear is full of rust silt anyway
