So, we're off to Dahab, and since the weather forcast for this weekend is pants I am not going to get a dive I thought I would sort out the unit and get it boxed away - one less job to do.

I clean ALL the O'rings, fill the scrubber, it's pristine, positive check and - hisssssssssssssss.

Bugger, pull off the hose, push it back on, and - perfect.

WHY DOES IT DO THAT.

No reason for this moan, just felt like having one.

That pisses me off no end. Why oh why does it do that when you’re very careful, then when you pull it back apart and make it all up again everything is all right?

ahhh, tis the little yellow gremlin that lives in the box! it get's awaken when you do any kind of maintainance, goes out for a little stroll and a stretch and usually doesnt get back in on time before you put it all back together...so it hisses at you to let it back in, which you do, unknowingly, when you pull it apart, and put it back together again

Imps. Little Cornish Imps. Sofnolime is actually imp eggs. If you don't get it all out the ones left over hatch and cause trouble. My garage is infested with imps.
