Pierre,
I secure my unit upright at all times when in the boat. This is not imperative prior to the first dive on the unit but absolutely essential once the unit has been dived. It is also important that anyone lifting the unit onboard keep it upright, the tendency of OC divers is to lay sets down. Failure to keep the unit upright runs the risk of contaminating the O2 sensors with moisture following any dive and in addition may soak the scrubber material if a quantity of water has entered the loop. If the pictures provided indicate the RIB you will be using, I cannot see a problem, the boarding ladders, available space and racks make it close to large boat diving. Do remember not to backward roll into the water though, again this has the potential to deposits water into the sensors.
Having viewed one of your previous posts/questions ensure that the scrubber material is well packed. RIB rides are notorious for packing down scrubber material causing channeling. I was taught to pack the unit using lots of tapping all around the cartridge to pack down the granules. This has served me well so far and despite some hairy trips in my RIB, I have experienced no problems to date.

With 2 SS ladders at the back there is no problem climbing up with even twin 12's
Having dived your RIB with my Box, last summer with Rupert from Buddies Dive Cove.

I have never been on a RIB better set up for the box.

Yes it is best to keep them upright even before the 1st dive as vibrations when horizontal will definatly risk channeling, it is always better to add extra compacting in the direction you compacted the scrubber unit in the first place.

Anyway, I enjoyed my diving with you, and you provide an excelent sevice and a brilliantly set up RIB

Thank you
