Secondhand Inspiration Lungs?
Hopefully someone on here can help.
I've decided that I want over the shoulder counterlungs on my home built I'm now after set of Medium Inspiration counterlungs.
Before I go and buy a new set, does anyone out there know of a set for sale?

Are the mediums going to be big enough? You might want to measure up and check. From the point of view of where the buttons and everything are as well, it might be worth getting the AP size chart thingy.

I've seen Simon, he's a scawny looking mutt - Medium lungs'll be fine

Simon - funnily enough, I've only just thrown out a set of Medium lungs I replaced a little while ago. Trust me, you wouldn't have wanted them. After 6yrs hard use, they were getting a bit.....euuurgh..

Digger,
Medium should be fine, the volume is plenty (11 litres), and I'm not worried about the injector placement as I'm probably just going to blank them off and inject elsewhere.
Also what do you think the odds are of me getting a second hand set of large lungs?

Big enough!? Inspy lungs are 'king enormous (from a capacity perspective)

Why not just get some lay-flat hose and seal the ends? Probably a hell of a lot cheaper than AP parts.

I've got a source I can dig out if you want it, IIRC it was only a couple of quid per metre.

Quite a few people upgrade from the medium lungs to large lungs to move the Inflator position, this means that there are medium lungs floating about at a reasonable price. and I can use AP T pieces which means I dont have to go to the bother of getting my own made.

Fair enough, makes sense. It's always a pain getting something to mate on to the lung other than using p-ports, if you can get hold of desperation parts then go for it.
