| Vision Electronics Are AP looking to offer existing Inspiration owners an opportunity to upgrade the electronics / handsets etc from "classic" to "vision" at a reasonable price, if so , does anyone have an idea of the price difference between "Vision" and importing a Hammerhead unit from the US ? |

I don't know the cost of the Hammerhead at present, I ordered mine almost two and a half years ago and got tired of waiting and cancelled. However the upgrade prices retail from AP for the Vision Electronics are: Vision Electonics with HUD PC Download and logviewer software £2467.50 Scrubber Monitor:£300 Nitrox Deco Software:£115 Trimix Deco Software:£115 HTH Cheers Dave Cooper |

It's about the same £2500.00 is the figure doing the rounds but no one seems to know for sure yet. You deed the head and a new scrubber ad housing for the upgrade. There is little point IMHO its more cost effective to sell the old unit and buy a new one. ATB Mark Chase

| I think you will find that the APD route is actually less expensive and you get a CE-marked bit of kit that does not EAT batteries! You may find that the Hammerhead goes the same way as Bob's ADV. In the mean time here's a picture of a Hammerhead I got with the aid of an Evolution. Last edited by BJ : 08-01-05 at 06:21 PM. |
