| I've had similar to Beanie for one cell. The other has been replaced. Any thoughts on makes BTW? Panasonic seemed to be fine but failed without warning. I heard that this was a design thing - deliver max power then die, which is good for cameras but not YBOD divers. Just got some Energiser ones from 7day.com. Any thoughts on these? |

| Energisers are about best. As you might have guessed, you'll get better life out of the slave handset's battery than the master on account of it not firing the solenoid - do not be tempted to be a tightarse. Change both batteries when the master gets low - much better for your health & piece of mind, specially when they're so cheap from the likes of 7dayshop. |

At less than £2 each, it just seems not worth it to faff about. Juz

| I had a Panasonic which just died on me without warning, I couldn't even run the handset as the slave and finished the dive on one. Battery life on them is about 15 hours at the most. Will probably start using Energisers when the stock of Panasonic I have runs out. When the master gets low I put the battery from the slave into the master and a new one in the slave, that way when the master fails I know I have a new-ish battery running the unit. Cheers Simon

not done for the money just seems silly throwing away batteries that work I check my slave batteries when they've come out when the masters failed and they are as new |

| I change my batteries weekly, never had a low battery warning nor a power problem at all. Put anything that fits in there. At the price of £2 or so I am happy to chuck both with this frequency. Cheers Dave Cooper
