What on earth makes you think they know, it changes daily. Personally, I will buy one as soon as the second hand units hit the market. It is about that point the electronics have been soak tested long enough for me to consider it.

But then I am an old cynic.

I have to say I was firmly in the Inspiration camp for many reasons, though I find myself being swayed by the arguments. Mainly the scrubber life on the Evo seems to be considerably longer than expected, or advertised. The gas issue is a non point. you have 350 mins of O2 with a 50bar safety factor. So the scrubber is still the limiting factor. If yu are worried about bailout the issue remains with the Inspiration.

Yes Mark, I am coming round,,,,,,,,,,,but not entirly convinced yet. Still don't want a KISS though.

Andrew

Looks like a buddy line, or a line I would use to clip my kit to a rib while de-kitting.

Your guess?

Adrian

Hey John,

Is the name on your slap strap in case anyone mistakes you for a snowboarder?

I was in Cocos. The red thingy is the webbing of my reef-hook. Webbing is much nicer to hold on to than line. The black dangly thingy on the other side is where I attach my camera! The mask-strap logo refers to an esteemed publication. Of course it has the advantage that its does not look like an advert to a diver! No further questions please! Buy the mag in a couple of weeks and (nearly) all will be revealed.

Deco Model

Taking to the folks at APD I got the impression that the intergrated deco is based on (or ported code from) DDPlan. They told me they'd done lots of test dives on 10/90 GF.

I was surprised they hadn't gone for a VPM-B based model!
