Personally I wouldn't use the Vision electronics for deco but would use some other means.

Talking nitrox/trimix

the only issue i'm aware of is the time keeping on the nitrox software BUT it doesn't affect all units & with version 30 (i believe ) does not affect trimix.
or is there another issue ?
BL**DY well hope not my unit should be at my instructors NOW!

vision ybod

i have a new inspiration with vision, with as you said all the bells and whistles and have it loaded with the trimix and nitrox deco software also i use a vr3

how does the deco on the vision compare? well from what i have seen so far i have the vr3 set on a set point of 1.25 and the vision on 1.3 during the dive and the vr3 calls for deep stops and the vision does not, what i have been told is that the vision follows a profile very much like the new vr3 program the vpm deco program. so you can still use the vr3. and if you feel the need upgrade to the vpm model

Where did you see this "incident" posted?

Also without details how can you insinuate that the Vision was responsible for the apparent hit. Without facts to back up your statement, I would respectfully ask you not to post any further speculative details.

..just a tad protective?

Can we ask your specific interest in this thread other than the clash with your name?

BL**DY well hope not my unit should be at my instructors NOW!

on the first dive on the unit, steve the instructor told me we would start off nice and steady and if all goes well do a long dive of about 1 hour or more so when he indicates to me that it's the end of the dive and i only had 42min's on the timer i was suprised, but even more so when he told me we had just done 1.15 mins when we got out. the second dive was the same getting around 34mins for the hour dive.

that night i down loaded the deco software that we had and it fixed the timer on the unit and its run true ever since.
