unit as it comes from ap,with the inclusion of the new adv is bloody good and add a couple of off-board cylinders for deeper stuff and its away you go.hammerhead electronics and stainless steel casing etc etc are a personal choice.
a lot remove the auto air,i dont have a problem with it so it stays.
cost up front is a lump i think about £4250 is the norm for course and unit.
you cant help but enjoy the freedom the unit gives you especially on the deeper stuff when o/c gas is expensive.
granted its not for everybody "try dive" on one and see how it feels.
cheers

<font color='#0000FF'>Hello All,

Last week I received an e mail from AP and quoting the new prices for the Insp. and Evo., which are as follows:

Evolution and Inspiration with new electronics

Retail (inc. VAT)
Standard Unit with 16kg wing or jacket BC, fitted with standard electronics with HUD, PC download and logviewer software £4,695.00

Optional Extras:
ADV £159.00
Nitrox Deco £115.00
Trimix Deco £115.00
Scrubber Monitor £300.00

Top Specification Unit £5,384.00

Has anyone here had a good look and can tell the difference from the good 'old' Insp to the new ones with new electronics? If I am not mistaken price tag has gone up a lot is this justified?

Regards

Pierre

<font color='#8D38C9'>old box was £3995 (possibly with 22kg wing)

so £700 for the new electronics
then your onto optional extras £230 for a trimix CCR computer don't sound bad

scrubber monitor is it worthit or is it just a toy?

new electronics +trimix deco = 930 approx 200 more then vr3 ccr trimix but then add the 4th cell and it's got to be about the same

I hate to think what the upgrade cost is
