Oh! Happy Day!

Sent my Classic 'lectrics in for a service.
Just heard from Helston:

The solenoid is corroded on the magnetic block – Unserviceable
Cell 1 wire heavily corroded – but back until it took solder.
-Rest of the loom is in good condition
-The handsets are excellent – old style.
-Handset covers & hoses are very good.

From this the technicians are recommending that the following work is carried out:

-Basic Lid service - £35.25
-New Solenoid - £45.82

and I should have it back before next weekend!
