| [quote= The price seems to vary - is it a case of you get what you pay for?? Thanks for any info, Brian[/QUOTE] In essence i am afraid yes! Its just my view but i think there are basically 2 types of IDC. There are those that simply get you through the IE, and those that offer much more of a grounding in the art of being an instructor!! The latter tends to cost more! Its a question of Value versus Price. As for where again just my view but training in the same environment as you intend to work in is well worth while! I did my IDC in February in Scotland [B cold] and the IE at Stony [B freezing] But it dose give a valuable insight to the real world of UK Teaching. I without a doubt could have done the hole thing cheaper but 4 years on i don't regret a Penney. I have no experience of the centers you quote but no several guys who went through the setup at stony. All are Good Pro's. Hope this helps. Cheers. Paul.
