It does pay off sometimes. RICHARD'S GOING TO DEMA FOR FREE
Hard-working PADI instructor Richard Barton, was stunned when he received a phonecall from PIL letting him know that he's the UK instructor who has certified the most Open Water Diver students with the highest conversion ratio to Advanced Open Water Diver in the UK during 2004.
Lee Garbett, owner of Ocean Quest dive centre in Cardiff, Wales where Richard works, was delighted by Richard's success and commented on how hard Richard had worked throughout 2004. Lee commented that, 'Richard is a great asset to our business and is popular with our customers and everyone at the dive centre'.
As a fitting reward for his efforts, Richard will be PADI's guest at DEMA 2005 which takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, October 4-7.
He will be flown from Heathrow to Las Vegas and stay at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel. He will also be PADI's guest at a selection of industry events and receive press coverage in Sport Diver magazine UK, and Sport Diver magazine US, as well as other global diving media opportunities. Richard will also be introduced as a true leader in the dive industry to key industry personnel. This all expenses paid trip will include a visit to PADI headquarters in Rancho Santa Margarita, California prior to the DEMA show.
As part of his prize Richard also receives up to £750 cash, in the form of an equipment rebate from PIL, for equipment purchased at any PADI IRRA facility plus a free copy of each and every new consumer product PADI releases in 2005.
By taking part in the 2005 Key Man programme, PADI Instructors in the UK can follow in Richard's footsteps and have the chance of being PADI's all-expenses paid guest at DEMA 2006 in Orlando, Florida. Check out the PADI Pro's area to find out how.
