1) try http://www.ukrecscuba.org.uk and the bsac forum (no hissing from the back please) for general tips
2) look at the archive - for the likes of woz' thread on his PIE experience
3) GOOD LUCK and enjoy yourself

I'm very glad to say that yes, I did pass. It took place at Glenuig on the west coast of Scotland.
Got CBL which was a bonus as I also got it for my IFC and OWIC.
All went well except from one of my students "dieing" on me . He took being the victim a wee bit too far. Tried to shake, poke, prod and even kind of slapped him a bit, but no response. At this point I thought he had a real problem, and as I started to do a real CBL all three Instructors were an their way over to help (even those who were snorkelling. Got him to the surface and he was oblivious as to what was going on . Never mind, just need to wait to see if I got a merit.

A great big thank-you must go to Janos for all his help.
Cheers mate.

congrats and a very, very big well done

one of my previous instructors also had a "student" with a gift for the amateur dramatics - which also caused a real life exercise at capenwray - the 'copter had to be turned away!

now you've done it - presumably, you have paid your fees to SHED ENTERPRISES (TM)?

Wasn't so bad was it? Well except maybe for the 'dead' student. He gave me a bit of a fright too!

Anyway now that you are an OWI how do you fancy helping out on some Regional SDC's?

Cheers!

Aw, you should have done it in the afternoon! We only had 3 for the TIE. Still, the next one is planned for 23rd Nov (I think) so give it a go then if not before.

Your Region needs you!
