No - I've spoken to Frank.

I have a pretty good idea who the victim will be.

God help me

Your email too Neil. I would like to do a course but with Tenerife for a week in Jan, Adv Nx and Deco in Feb, Fundies in Mar, I think the first time I could do a course would be Apr from a cost point of view and a family point of view!!

I had planned to do my PADI RD before Xmas but I think that will probably fall through.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Gareth, my 2p on this would be that some sort of Rescue course would be a far, far higher priority than Adv Eanx & Deco procs, as you wouldn't really want to do the dives that you do on the course without rescue skills. You are getting into the territory where things really can go worng - think about gas switches, MODS etc, and you want to be able to cope before putting yourself in that position, I would have thought?

I know this is slightly off topic and not what you are asking, but I do feel it is somethingto consider. Maybe the way timetables work won't let you do it, but perhaps you could get it tagged into the start of the ADv Nitrox course, for example?

Lou

Thanks Lou. Good point, however, I had that sort of planned with my PADI RD being completed before Xmas. However, after reading the IANTD course description it seems more applicable than the PADI course - in addition I don't have to do the PADI RD if I want to progress to PADI DM, the IANTD one will cover me.

The scheduling of dates might be a bit problematic as the Adv Eanx course is being run by Mark Powell at NDAC and I used his Dive Show discount to get a cheaper discounted course and I have already paid the deposit to set the dates; I am only doing Adv part, the Deco is being done at a later date as I cannot dive on the 10 Feb (8 & 9 Feb being the Adv Eanx dates).

Waiting to hear from Frank as to dates that he can manage, he might be able to do Dec and then that sorts everything out. However, knowing how busy he is I doubt it.

Thanks
