IANTD INFORMATION REQUIRED

This post is a request for information from any IANTD instructor and relates to study material for the entry level open water course. I took two IANTD certified divers for drysuit training today and when they were asked to provide a final pressure group value after their first dive they couldn't. On further questioning they stated that they did not possess any "tables". I found a set of printed tables within their course study notes but I'd like to know if IANTD 'issue' entry level students with a set of plastic tables such as BSAC 88's or PADI's RDP. Thanks Richard..

Richard

Open Water Crew pack will include a set of the IANTD Air diving tables. All divers who have completed this level of basic training should have the ability to calculate their ending pressure group

Kind regards

Ian

i was given a set of paper photocopyed air tables for advanced nitrox and told to buy some waterproof ones from there uk website.

i think all courses would include a bit on repetitive dives and ending pressure groups,

think they must have forgot

Advanced Nitrox should have air plus 50% as a minimum. This is pretty basic stuff really :0

Entry level crewpacks will typically contain tables required for the course. Instructors may specify which tables students should purchase if not part of the pack. For something like Triox 32/15, 28/25 and Air and 50% would be the minimum requirements (32/15 and 28/25 included with crewpack)
