I see it as simply that because there's nothing on the Deep adventure dive that's of any use to Rescue. Navigation on the other hand is very useful.

Substitute "on the Rescue course" for "to Rescue" in my previous post, and you'll see what I meant .

What depth are they insured to?

OW = 18 M
AOW = 30M

as Rescue was after this it is assumed your good for 30M

Deep - 40M


So Essentialy Rescue is out of the equation where there is a depth limit
So If Rescue bring your AOW cert or you may not get to your 30M dive

Alternativly take the Deep cert then the above does not come into it

Qualification doesn't really come into it. Somebody on the AOW course isn't automatically given immediate access to 30 metres. Same for OW.
