    Substitute "on the Rescue course" for "to Rescue" in my previous post, and you'll see what I meant .

    don't see the problem.

    rather dive with someone who has done rescue and not deep than someone who has deep and not rescue.
    less is more.

    What depth are they insured to?

    OW = 18 M
    AOW = 30M

    as Rescue was after this it is assumed your good for 30M

    Deep - 40M


    So Essentialy Rescue is out of the equation where there is a depth limit
    So If Rescue bring your AOW cert or you may not get to your 30M dive

    Alternativly take the Deep cert then the above does not come into it
    One of 126 divers that stuffed the Aussies and stole there World Record

    Qualification doesn't really come into it. Somebody on the AOW course isn't automatically given immediate access to 30 metres. Same for OW.
