If that's the "crap" photos, you'd better not show the good ones.

Hi Jamie,

Funny you should ask.

I asked some friends recently to guess what was in the safe when we opened it and one of the replies was

"Gold Gold Gold....right up to the moment you opened it"

In this case it was a few docs keys and.......mud!

But maybe the next one.......

To be totally honest it was soooo much fun getting her out the wreck and up from 70m+ that the contents were almost irrelevant.

Lets hope no one was left in the water when the safe was given back to the sea

Shame that nothing of high value was in the safe. As you say maybe the next one.

All the best

Jamie

PS

I really like these kind of pics and would certainly welcome some more.

Hi

Do you clean them up and display them for others or offer them to any museums? Not being critical in any way, they are your finds but it might be nice to let others see them. I don't know if thats practical considering where in the world they were found.

Andy

Depends.

3 bells off a recent trip to locate the wrecks of some historical Navy vessels were returned to the respective Navy (who were very pleased Im sure seeing as we found their long lost ships)

Most of the helms and telegraphs are sold off to dealers to fund the explorations in part and portholes are often kept and restored ending up hanging on peoples wall.

bare in mind these are lost/virgin wrecks that are undescovered so if we didnt search for them and tow the side scan they would never be dived/seen by anyone
