As I write this, most of you will be in bed or still on the lash from the night before. For me its mid-morning on the beautiful island of Gili Meno, Indonesia.
Dont worry I didnt just come on here to :P I also will be in the same position as most of you come March, when I fly home back to Blighty.
So yes Im one of those travellers who fell in love with bubbles in a very short space of time and went from zero to hero with PADI Sorry if I make some of you feel sick. But unlike lots of my colleagues who would never even dream of putting their toes in anything colder then 25*c, Im looking to carry on my life under the waves purging away the days in the waters of home. Cardiff to be exact. 'Oh god' I hear you say, now we find out hes Welsh as well! I hope the beautiful side of the bridge is represented on this forum as well?
I havnt spent that much time on the forum but over the hour or so I spent perusing before this thread, I have seen:
Big british wet/dry suit company being slated,
Individuals being slated,
Some great advice to noobs (like myself),
Some good gear for sale,
...looks like the surface intervals are going to be more fun from here on in!
I will endeavour to try and withhold the useless information and refrain form asking stupid questions until I have searched high and low on the forum for answers first...bare with me...
Also looking for buddies/mentors for my first dives in british waters and starting the Tech diving thing.
Cheers all and see you in some stupid thread about the differences between using spit and shampoo for mask fogging.
