new inspiration diver - soon?

hi there guys and gals,

I've recently posted a few lines, and thought I'd better let you all know a bit about myself.

I've been diving OC for 15 or 16 years, BSAC advanced diver and TDI trimix. I've done the usual UK diving scene - most of my diving is South Coast from Sussex westwards, with the usual excursions to Scapa, Pembrook, Farnes, Mull etc etc. Most of my diving has been on ribs with BSAC clubs, but I've done a fair share of expeditions. I even dived abroad for the first time last year!

I finally got a date for my mod1 course with the inspiration vision at the end of July - only 12 months after I paid the deposit! Hope this introduction doesn't jinx it.I've lurked around for a little while, and I occasionally post on scuba-uk and uk.rec.scuba so a few of you might know me already. Gordon also gave me access to the inspiration list archives, so I feel I know a lot of you already

Things have tailed off a little for the last couple of years due to the family growing, and this year I haven't even got wet yet. Sold the twinset back in Feb on the promise of the imminent arrivel of the inspiration. Hope to get back full into the swing of things after the mod1 course. After all, I've got to make up for lost time.

So, that's me. Oh yes, I'm an engineer, fly kites a bit, drive too fast, and drink too much

Welcome Simon, always good to see another YBOD pilot on the boards.
