Angry Introduction for Stanlow

Hi Yall
just thought Id introduce myself and make myself known .Im a thirty eight year old father of two girls who dived for 10 years on O/C and for the last three years on an inspiration mostly the wrecks around Anglesea, Oban,Scapa, and the deep wrecks of Northern Ireland.
Just as an aside Im also one of the a###holes (notdeadyet words) who have put multiple buoy in Dorothea there hav been too many fatalities at this site more often as not caused by equipment failures ie freeflows .So if your going through the tunnel at 54m and you have a problem do you make a free ascent or would you like to come up a shotline-no brainer! these lines were put in as safe up lines for when there is an emergency.
If notdeadyet would like to pm me Id be happy to put him straight on a few thing
regards
stanlow

Quick question - where in the post does NDY defame anyone?

Assuming you are referring to the thread about buoys, there is no mention of any person, just an expression of a general opinion. To defame someone, you have to actually name them, or put enough information to make it possible for others to infer their identity.

Hi Stan,

It's traditional, when doing an intro, to give a wee bit of background on yourself and say general 'Hi' to the forum - posts like the one you entered with are best kept for a PM to the person with whom you have taken umbrage or posted in context and on topic within the confines of the thread in question.

And you must be the 1st YD member to do an intro and rely so heavily on the icon??

Never mind, enjoy the boards and welcome to YD.

Or for that matter call anyone an arsehole.

well never having dived there(SWMBO would kill me ) I cannot comment on the buoy situation, but I do think that stanlow should have done this by PM rather than an on board slating.Nowhere in any of the posts on here has Not Dead Yet called any body an Ahole for the buoys/poor line laying.

I suggest the personal attacks on YD members is taken off board and/or a new thread started to discuss the merits of buoying/linking every'attraction' /everything in dotty.

ooh I was all sensible then what happpened.
