Pls note that any references to drug smuggling, rum running and slavery are all made in jest and the best possible taste and usually done by someone else using my online identity.

I also apologise in advance for any future slanderous comments against the HSE and sundry other official bodies.

As it happens, your introduction post has just reminded me that I need to email Dover CG and thank them for looking after us by ensuring we didn't get minced up by some container ship's propellers on a recent dive just inside the shipping lane off East Sussex.
