Hi all,

Have been reading the boards for many months, and finally thought it would be worth signing up and joining the mad house.

I'm based in High Wycombe, BSAC qualified (DL, OWI, Adv Nitrox etc) and have done somewhere around 180 dives over about 4 years.

Do most of my diving on the South Coast (Weymouth on Kyaratoo or a poor excuse for a club RIB!). As such, the diving is mainly wreck related or teaching - however looking forward to first foray to Scapa in 7 days (AA relay trucks on standby!).

So that's me in a nut shell - be gentle with me!

Simon

Welcome and enjoy.

I work in wycombe so the news about the LDS was greatfully received.

Hi.

Be gentle? You're supposed to be a BSAC diver!

Scapa is great - I really enjoyed the diving and the scenery during my one week visit. I hope you enjoy it as much.

Simon Hi and welcome to YD.

There are two trips in the next two weeks arranged by Ian (Air Assisted/Diving Daisy) about to descend on Scapa, staring on the 6th Aug, is that when you are up there? I think DalesDiver has a trip that week as well which has a few Yders on it, so dont be afraid of running down the ferry shouting "I love YD" its bound to get you noticed and a lot of friends.

Matt

(or a seat to yourself anyway)

Hi Simon

Glad to see that you have stopped being a 'lurker' and joined the throng...

You will shortly be finding it difficult to let a day pass without logging on

Happy & safe diving

Kathy

Hi Simon,

I'm a newbie too and also (at least will be in a week!) based in Wycombe. I've found the YD lot very friendly and full of advice so welcome aboard and hope to see you on a dive soon.
