My apologies, Hello!

My apologies, i seem to have upset a few people for not introducing myself.

My name is Paul and i am currently in the Caribbean, returning home in a weeks time. I live and work in London. I am a Padi OWSI and have been diving for the past five years.
I am not affilated with any clubs in the UK and all my bottom time has been abroad.
Tropical warm waters where i have encountered some of the best diving the worlds oceans have to offer.
I am involved with Whaleshark research and conservation, conservation of our worlds reefs in general "REEF".

As I have never dived in the UK, like many thousands of divers living there, I am trying to put together an event that will bring all divers together within a social enviroment, so dive experiences can be exchanged and encouraged INCLUDING diving in the UK.
The site below is not an advert for myself, i am trying to do something different for our industry and your views and ideas are needed to get something like this rolling. This was an easy way of getting peoples attention to what i am trying to do by putting it somewhere collectively. Thousands upon thousands of divers do not use these forums or have not got the time to sit and strike up friendships with unknown faces.

I am not advertising anything other than trying to put this event together. collect your ideas and your views.

I just don't think you get YD at all. A bit of advice to a forum newbie (if you're not a forum newbie, than you're a twat!) you need to lurk a bit before jumping in with both feet.

If you're trying to start something new, you need to understand the market space a bit first. Like all niche marketing, if the niche is occupied, it's going to be come crowded, and unless you are bringing something revalutionary to the market, you are going to struggle.

And as three D says, what's the point of marketing a forum for people that don't have time to spend in a forum. That's just plain daft!
