Hello and thank you.

Hello and thank you.
YD:
I have been lurking on YD for a couple of years and would
like to thank everyone who posts here. So....
Thank you for answering my questions before I've had to ask them.
Thank you for offering advice on topics I hadn't imagined and
thank you for keeping me educated and entertained at work (ssh)
YD is an incredible body of knowledge and advice, so much so that
the search option means never having to post, never having to post
until you realise you have received this wealth of advice without saying thank you.
Thank you.
Me:
I have been diving for a couple of years.
I try to dive every weekend but being at the mercy of the East Sussex weather means I have around 80 dives in my logbook.
I am a Nitrox PADI rescue diver. I decided to do the rescue course after diving with BSAC trained friends who expressed concern at my lack of rescue skills. In fact they dragged me to the nearest pool and had me practicing lifts. Gawd bless em!
I enjoy the diving I do, mostly wrecks off Brighton and Newhaven but I am concerned aboutbecoming complacent.
Reading YD and completing the nitrox course has opened my eyes to other worlds of diving, given me itchy fins and forced me to ask some questions about my skills and equipment.

Thanks again
Jimbob

thanks

thanks for the welcome. I wish I hadn't put off posting for so long
but everytime I had a question or comment a quick search on here
showed someone had already been there and the whole problem
had been nicely resolved. Recently it has been getting ridiculous
and I have been thinking up increasingly obscure or bizarre questions.
I thought I had one worth posting last week involving a belt buckle
and a confusing photograph in a manual but............done and explained!
Finally cracked it by realising I could post a thank you instead.

If only the rest of us put as much thought into every post as you do, rather than just post whatever bit of nonsense that pops into our heads!!!!!!!!!
