Hi All,

Just realised that I'd jumped straight into the forums adding my six pence worth without some much as a "by your leave" or is it "buy or leave" or maybe "bye or leave"!...Anyway!

I tend to have a habit of engaging my mouth or fingers about 3 hours before my brain is up to speed so I'll apologise in advance if I say/type anything untoward!

I'm a PADI DM and have been diving for about 7 years now, most of my diving is UK but I have also had the pleasure of diving in Cyprus, Spain, Mauritius and Turkey.

I'm based in Dorset, which is rather handy considering the hobby, but travel extensively with work so sometimes the opportunity arises to dip my toe in foreign waters.

I've been aware of YD for about 18 months now and up until now just used it for research as there is a great deal of useful information and a lot of very experienced people on the site. I hope that I can contribute to the discussions in a constructive and objective way but if not I can revert to what I'm good at.....talking complete gibberish.
