Feels like the first day at a new school...

Well... I'm Ange, and a Kent lass residing in South Lincs.

I'm a PADI AOW with about 60+ dives, but being "pushed" (woe is me!) to go for my Divemaster. I'm sure I'll get there...eventually!

My first dive was on the Great Barrier Reef with a boat load of Saga passengers! But despite that, I got hooked and I've since been to the Red Sea a few of times - my last (on a liveaboard) being the best for experiences on wrecks, in drifts and having seen hammerheads!

But failing to get to the warmer climes , I'm happy to go to Stoney. But will more than likely to be practicing staying the right way up/down in my new drysuit at Guildy in readiness for my first UK sea dives in April.

Well that's it for now - hope to contribute to some of the discussions on here and wishing you all a happy bubble blowing week!!

A

Hi Ange, "boat load of Saga passengers" sounds just like my sort of dive weekend. Welcome to YD.

Welcome aboard. Don't feel "pushed" to do anything! Enjoy yourself and proceed at your own pace. If you decide AOW or Rescue is as far as you want to go then stand your ground, if you want to go further then great for you and good luck.

Hi Ange

Welcome to YD, where the only pressure is caused by the water you dive in.

Get on some of the trips and broaden your experience, we have some characters here.

James

Hi DiveAngel,

Welcome to the school and if anyone offers to show you a blue goldfish watch out, they'll probably flush your head down the loos!

Never say l'm ONLY this or that, a new divers opinion is valued as much as the old gits and l'm afraid there's a few of them on here.
