My Introduction

Hi All,

I have been lurking around the Yorkshire Divers for a few months now and with so few people now posting on uk.rec.scuba thought it was about time I signed up.

I have been diving for approximately six years and have been a DM for the past 2 years. My love of diving started as a bit of an accident when my local gym were having try dive sessions. Someone who was supposed to do a try dive didn't turn up and I was asked if I would like to have a go, I've been hooked ever since.

I mainly dive in and around the UK as money never really stretches far enough for holidays in exotic locations (there must be a point when I don't need to spend all my spare money on new dive equipment!)

Cheers

Mike.

Fancy falling for the old "he didn't turn up, shall we let you try (and then take all your money for ever and ever" routine !

Welcome to YD. May your cylinders always be full...

Welcome to 'the farm' Mike.

Mostly we're a friendly bunch, apart from the odd Jock or Taff.

“Yep” in about thirty years time. When you have all the kit that will see you
through to the end of your diving time.

Welcome to the boards
Have fun

Cheers
Bob
