Interloper

Not been diving long, about seven months.
Never dived in open water but have dived, on average, once a week/once every two weeks in caves (hence interloper)
Live in the UK.

I am just getting into this diving lark and have lots of questions so I thought I would sign up and start picking some brains.

That has to be quite an unusual way of learning, straight into cave diving. Must be quite a hard way to learn with a very steep learning curve. Welcome to YD Johnny..

Not really - a lot of the CDG started cave diving without any open water experience. There's a lot of uneccesary stuff that you don't need - e.g. tides, boat navigation, buddy skills(!) etc. etc. for inland cave diving.

I did throw myself in the deep end a bit!
But I have some years of caving experience, allot of it exploration and cave diving was a natural progression, I can now get to allot more places (I will be able to get to even more when I get half good at it!)
