Newbie says Hi

I thought it was time I joined up and said a Big Hello from sunny Canvey Island.

The Forum has been a big help to me while I have been lurking here and getting all my kit together, (it's still not complete yet).

It's been great to be able to be read so many different opinions and recommendations for regs, wings and most importantly dry suits.
I finally ordered an O' Three suit at the Dive Show and should get it in a couple of weeks.......can't wait!

I've been a "holiday diver" for about the last 20 odd years, started Padi training
5 years ago and have reached AOWD with TDI nitrox as well.
Last year I decided to join Phoenix Divers, completed the dry suit training and had my first UK dive at Stoney in November, it was cold......but I still enjoyed it!!
I am looking forward to getting back to Stoney to try out the new suit and complete the wreck speciality course at the end of May.

Cheers,

Salty.

Hi Andy,

It's only 2 mins to the beach, but just not worth it, there's not much to see in the Thames!

I go to Stoney as it's arranged by the club.

How does Wrasbury compare to Stoney and where is it?

Cheers

Salty.

Just had a look at the website, it looks good.

I'll mention it to the guys at the club and see if we can take a trip over there some time. I'm keen to try anywhere as it's all new to me!

Cheers
