| Hello, I'm 42 and I'm working on a old project : HEPS, the Virtual Diver... HEPS is a Dive Simulator and a training assistant devoted to those who practise or are interested in scuba diving. It complements the theoretical courses held in clubs, but can also be used by anybody interested or for fun. You can see a DEMO on http://www.virtual-diver.com... Yorkshire-Divers seems to be a great community and I'm looking for a little Help to correct the English version. If you can Help me, I'll put of course a link from my Web Site to your Home page... |

| Hello, Thanks again for your messages... Blondie, thank you but my english is not so good... An english teatcher helped me to translate my Web pages... So if someone have a little time, dont hesitate to tell me if something is wrong... I have a question : how do you call in english when the partial pressure of O2 is more than 1.6 bar (in french, we call it "Hyperoxie" and when it becomes dangerous we call it "Hyperoxie aigue"). ...I know that I must covert all my units too... |
| ||||
| Hyperoxic. It just means above normal atmospheric O2. UK divers use metric units. "Imperial" est Amerloque...... Chris

| OK, thanks... Hyperoxie in French can be use as an adjective to qualifie the Divers state : Whe can say : At 70 meters, "Je suis en Hyperoxie", does "Hyperoxic" can be used the same way ? Otherwise, you are right, Hyperoxye means that the partial pressure of oxygen is up the "normal" |
