Hi Pilky

Haven't had any personal experience of this boat, but the boat specs can be found at
http://www.blueplanet.uk.com/pages/fleet/bluewaves.htm

Just wondering who you booked this through, as we're booked on Emperor Fraser the week after to do the same itinery the week after, and there are still 14 places left, so may get shunted to another boat.

C

Is something going on with cancelling liveaboards at the moment....I met someone @ the weekend who was given his money back with a £400 voucher because Tony Backhurst decided to cancel his week on Grand Sea Serpent...due insufficient numbers!!
With only a week's notice the guy was not impressed.

Emperor said it was somrthing to do with the recent Red sea ferry disaster, This as delayed Red sea permissions for all boats.

That's true. We're experiencing terrible delays in permissions. Also I've heard that the permissions' costs to marine parks like the Brothers became very expensive.

Perhaps they couldn't get the necessary medical permissions due to having a medical condition that is a contra-indication to diving?

Just a thought...

We've just been bumped off the Tranquility and onto the Fraser for our trip starting on Thursday - also due to permissions apparently.
