| Imported post Hey Drift - how did the DM weekend go? |

| Imported post </span> Quote:
On the Saturday I had all manner of problems to deal with - freeflowing TX40's, flooding suits, having to swap inflator hoses and regs in the water (on the surface obviously!) and even found myself in a compromising position with a trainee - another DM was behind holding the tank and I unzipped their suit and shoved my hand down the front to undo and rotate the inflator as they had to borrow my OWN suit! This was all without a single dive *sniff* Sunday was a little more promising - got to do a dive or two, fun part was doing "dive 4" for the first time, finding a shed load of metal in 15m and my compass telling me the shore was in fact 180 degrees from where it was! Ohshitshitohshitohshit........ Got loads of 5's for my internship anyhow! As for exams Physics - 100% Equipment - 95% (bloody J-valve question) Physiology - 90% (read the question first!) Skills and Envt - 90% (see above) DM conducted progs - 85% (on appeal as should be 95%, two questions wrong due to IM with outdated S&P's) Not bad, shoulda studied for it! |
